Workplace Conduct

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive. The following standards apply to all workplace interactions:

Respectful Communication

  • Communicate with professionalism and courtesy at all times
  • Listen actively and value diverse perspectives
  • Avoid gossip, rumors, and negative speculation
  • Provide constructive feedback with empathy and respect

Non-Discrimination & Harassment

  • We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • We prohibit all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying, and intimidation
  • All employees have the right to work in a safe and respectful environment
  • Report any concerns through appropriate channels without fear of retaliation

Professional Boundaries

  • Maintain appropriate professional relationships with colleagues

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

  • We strictly prohibit bribery, kickbacks, and corruption in any form
  • We do not offer or accept gifts, favors, or payments to influence business decisions
  • We maintain transparency in all business dealings and relationships
  • We comply with the Kenya Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act

Fair Competition

  • We compete fairly and ethically in the marketplace
  • We do not engage in anti-competitive practices or price fixing

Conflicts of Interest

  • We avoid situations where personal interests conflict with company interests

Gifts & Hospitality

  • We do not accept gifts that could influence or appear to influence business decisions
  • Modest gifts of nominal value may be accepted with disclosure
  • We avoid excessive hospitality or entertainment that could create obligations
  • All gifts and hospitality must be reported to management

  • Protecting client and employee data from unauthorized access or disclosure

  • Complying with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 (KDPA)

Reporting Violations

We encourage everyone to report any suspected violations of this Code of Conduct or any other concerns. Reporting mechanisms include:

  • Anonymous reporting via our whistleblower hotline

Protection from Retaliation

  • We strictly prohibit retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith
  • We protect the confidentiality of reporters to the extent possible
  • We investigate all reports thoroughly and fairly
  • Anyone found to have retaliated will face disciplinary action

Enforcement & Disciplinary Action

We take violations of this Code of Conduct seriously and will take appropriate disciplinary action. Consequences may include:

Disciplinary Measures

  • Verbal or written warning
  • Mandatory training or counseling
  • Probation or suspension
  • Demotion or pay reduction
  • Termination of employment
  • Legal action where appropriate

Investigation Process

  • All reports will be investigated promptly and fairly
  • The investigation will be conducted by appropriate personnel
  • Those involved will have the opportunity to respond
  • Findings will be documented and appropriate action taken
